Subject: great stuff at the farmers’ markets!
Everyone should make a point to stop by one of our Chatham County Farmers’ Markets this week for the freshest produce in town!
You’ll find a wonderful selection of produce including watermelons, cantaloupes, blueberries, peaches, sweet corn, butterbeans, tomatoes, lettuce, and all the other great crops of high summer. Customers will also enjoy cut flowers and fantastic baked goods and locally produced meats and cheese.
These farmers work 7 days a week in all kinds of weather to bring you the highest quality products and they depend on us to show up at the markets to support them. Think of the wonderful meals you can make from all locally grown foods!
Market Hours:
Tuesdays – Fearrington Village – 4:00 pm til early evening
Thursdays – Pittsboro – 3:30-6:30 pm
Saturday – Siler City – 10:00 am-1:00 pm
For more information about the Chatham markets, visit Cooperative Extension’s Growing Small Farms website at http://www.growingsmallfarms.org.
I hope to see you there!
