Subject: New to town!
My family and I just moved to Pittsboro!
1. Are there any homeschoolers out there? Is there a support group or activities in Chatham County?
2. My husband and I teach violin at The Suzuki Academy of NC in Chapel Hill — We specialize in teaching Autistic/PDD children violin using a combination of the Suzuki Method, ABA, TEACCH and music therapy techniques — also two of our sons have Autism. We hope, with enough interest, to build an Autism division at our school and are beginning to ‘spread the word’ to all who might be interested. Scholarships are available.
