If you drive, ride, walk, run, stroll, push, are pushed, sit, or stand in and around Pittsboro, please go to the Town of Pittsboro Pedestrian Plan link: http://greenways.com/pittsboro.html , click on Comment Form near the upper right, and fill out the comment form.
Your comments will help Pittsboro and the surrounding area plan for a better community.
The sidewalks that were installed in town a few years ago were great! Where do you want more? Where do the current ones need to be improved?
Where are the trouble spots that you’ve faced when walking, or even riding around Pittsboro? Any sidewalks that suddenly end without warning? Any traffic lights which never seem to change when you are on foot? Any intersections that give you fits when you are walking? While driving have you almost hit a pedestrian or bicyclist because you couldn’t see them, or they “weren’t where they were supposed to be” or where you thought they would be?
