I admire all those who participate in our elective processes, whether by running for office or assisting with campaigns. I am sure that those who participate by putting out signs supporting their candidates are also the very ones who respect the law.
A simple solution to Mr. Wyllie’s dilemma is for the campaign manager to include a written statement with the signs stating the local regulation (for local candidates) or to include a reminder for volunteers to check with local authorities concerning sign regulations (for candidates at the state or national level).
