Today was another of those days when the 3G wireless internet connection is not working properly, so I must run to town to check my electronic mail! I wish it were not necessary.

My thanks to all who have made comments to the FCC proposal 10-90 to extend Connect America Funding in ways that will result in actual working connections for rural Americans.If you haven’t left a comment, you can still leave comments encouraging fiber and/or wireless broadband in rural Chatham by going to:1. http://www.fcc.gov/rulemaking/10-90 2. Select the “Take Action” tab at top of page3. Select “Comment”4. Scroll down to 10-90 ( this is for the broadband experiments)After selecting 10-90 follow instructions and leave a brief public comment.

It would be helpful to include Chatham County, NC specifically in your comments.
