Jobs Are Coming. Are You Ready?

Jobs Are Coming. Are You Ready?

Across our state we are starting to slowly make our way out of the dark tunnel that the past several years has put us through as a nation. As if recovering from a recession was not enough of a struggle COVID-19 had to hit us from the blind side.

But there is great news! Jobs are popping in NC and more are on the horizon. Our BioWork industry is growing and are looking right now to hire well-qualified individuals. The Chatham Park project will bring many retail jobs that will require staff for all levels, especially managers. Amazon is also looking to expand and bring more jobs to the state.

Central Carolina Community College can help you in being prepared to fill many of these positions. We have BioWork training programs in Continuing Education and management courses in our degree programs. We also have Essential Career & Employability Skills training programs that can help you polish up your resume, interview, and people skills so that you can make that winning first impression.

See currently available courses at cccc.edu/ecd/find-classes/. If there is a course you are interested in but do not see it offered, contact our Associate Dean of Workforce Development, Felicia Crittenden, at  and let her know.

Jobs are here and more are coming. Are you ready?
