Curves of Pittsboro is sponsoring a food drive for CORA, our local food pantry in Chatham County. CORA desperately needs food now, and Curves is trying to help. In 2006, Curves of Pittsboro collected 2,245 pounds of food and $395 in cash donations. So far this month, we have collected only 1,441 pounds of food and $325. Our goal was to surpass last year's donation, but we're running out of time. The food drive ends Saturday, March 31.
If you would like to donate non-perishable food items to CORA, please drop your donation at Curves of Pittsboro, 354 East Street. We are open Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. We are closed on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. If you stop by when we're not open, please leave your donation at Wayne's Cleaners next door, and we'll get it.
