May I recommend that you try the coffee products or anything else on the truck from this vendor. Yummy and made to order. A little hard to find them if you don’t know where to look. The truck is parked on the street that goes in front of the P’Boro Fire Department, and they are around the curve almost out of view when coming into town from the direction of Sanford.

Subject: Shot of Spro Signs
I still don’t get it- Why does a mobile business need signs to direct customers? Mobile means mobile- going where it is needed or wanted. But I do have a suggestion about a sign- Maybe Shot of Spro could put a little sign in the very corner of the Daily Chatlist Sponser section- It could be moved to the opposite corner the next day-back and forth- that way, hardly anyone would notice it dosen’t belong there.

Subject: Temporary Sign Ordinance exception – UPDATE #3
Here’s an update:
As of today, after a personal visit, the Town of Pittsboro Planning Office is going to work with us on our DIRECTIONAL signs. We’re only allowed to put out one at a time so we’ll be swapping between 15/501 and 64. Sorry if you get confused because you’ll see them on 64 one day and 15/501 the next. Mr. Bass (Planning Director) said he’ll see how that goes with the complaints and follow-up with us if there are anymore. Yes, people are complaining, which is why our signs are being enforced. I still plan to make a statement at the next Board meeting on October 24th at 7 pm.. There are a few off-premise (including directional) signs that aren’t being enforced and I plan to question why?

Lawrence F. London, Jr. wrote -
” Unbelievable that any merchant would knowingly allow gas or diesel engine exhaust fumes to be discharged near their coffee van. This is very inconsiderate of customers enthusiastic of their excellent coffee and unnecessary as they can use any available nearby electrical drop.
I wouldn’t get within 500 feet of those fumes.”
I guess Lawrence was too indignant to have read Tina Meek’s note about the Shot of Spro van -

Subject: Latte Respect Needed
Though I understand how some people might fear them, espresso vans play a vital role in our Chatham County ecosystem. They should be allowed to live among us, not banished due to narrow prejudices against creatures that sometimes hum a bit loudly or belch an occasional tiny propane cloud. (By the way, I’m told that if you carefully place an espresso van near an electrical outlet–its preferred food source–the humming and belching will cease.)
