From: “Suwattana, Erin”
Subject: Jordan Lake 12-Hour Challenge

How much distance can you cover in 12 hours? Come find out on a trail run with views of beautiful Jordan Lake!

Not up to 12 hours on your own? Find two friends to join you on a team and see what you can do together. Rest when you want, eat when you want, run or walk when you want and go as far as your aching body will take you in 12 hours.

Awards will be given for the greatest distance covered, with a special Chatham County resident award category! Could it be you?
When: April 18, 2015, 7:00 am
Where: New Hope Overlook at Jordan Lake
Silver Sponsor: David Stuckey

The race will be on a 2.9-mile loop. Most trail runners would consider the course moderately hilly. It is challenging enough to satisfy experienced trail runners but the loops are short enough for the less experienced or novice trail runner looking for a new challenge or a longer event.

Proceeds will benefit Child Care Networks, a Chatham County non-profit agency that supports safe, nurturing child care. Proceeds from the race will help us continue to serve thousands of children in child care programs in Chatham, Wake, Orange, Durham, Moore, Harnett, Lee, Johnston and Wayne Counties.
