It’s mid-July and the heat is ON, which means you should bring a chair and sit under the stars at the Bynum General Store on Friday night and listen to *The* *Small Ponds*, a collaborative explosion concocted by songstress Caitlin Cary and songster Matt Douglas.  They are known for their clear-headed, clear-spoken lyrics, prescise knowing arrangements, wide-ranging, emotionally packed songs. . . .all brought to life by a tender vocal interplay that may inspire new entries to the dictionary definition of “duet”.  Many thanks to *The Lizzie Ross Band* for their performance last week.  All the shows are free but we pass a hat!  Next week, we welcome *Swift Creek*.

Hey folks, the next Bynum General Store workday is coming up soon!  It’s this Saturday, July 16, from 8:30 until 11:00.  We will be working on the stage area and doing a couple of small construction projects.  We’ll get started early, when it’s nice and cool, and wrap up before noon.  Please come on down to the Store and lend a hand.

As always, Bynum Front Porch will have plenty of water and snacks on hand.
