Subject: Thank you
Saturday’s 9th Annual ClydeFEST was an absolute success in every definition of the word! Based on unofficial counts, the turnout hovered around 1000 children, parents, and grandparents who enjoyed the authentic, homemade, county fair whimsy of ClydeFEST. More importantly, the day made innumerable unforgettable happy memories for hundreds of citizens of Chatham County and beyond. There’s no better measure of success than that.

Subject: Decisions made in the May 4th Primary could shape the future of Chatham County
This May 4th Republican and Unaffiliated voters will make important choices that could effect the future of our great county. What an exciting time in Chatham to have so many Republicans running in Primaries!
Many of the candidates have websites that I would like to share with everybody to help in making these critical decisions on May 4th. Also, the Chatham County Republican Party is holding a Candidates Forum on April 13th at the District Courtroom in Pittsboro at 7:00 pm.

Subject: Redistricting Information sessions
The opening of Pollard Middle School provides an opportunity to shift attendance zones slightly so that schools are more evenly utilized.
Besides the middle school students from Perry Harrison and North Chatham moving to Pollard mid-year next school year, about 150 kids (Horton, PES, North Chatham) will be moved to a different school. There will be two information meetings and a hearing at regular board meeting. To see the map of the proposed districts, open this link and go to the last page of the presentation.
