Subject: Redistricting Information sessions
The opening of Pollard Middle School provides an opportunity to shift attendance zones slightly so that schools are more evenly utilized.
Besides the middle school students from Perry Harrison and North Chatham moving to Pollard mid-year next school year, about 150 kids (Horton, PES, North Chatham) will be moved to a different school. There will be two information meetings and a hearing at regular board meeting. To see the map of the proposed districts, open this link and go to the last page of the presentation.

Subject: Link your grocery cards to help our schools
You have to link your Harris Teeter VIC card and Food Lion MVP card EVERY year in order to get donations to the schools (or other charities).
Even if you don’t have a child in school, you can help our local schools out everytime you go grocery shopping.
Here is some information to start with -

In case you weren’t one of the 300 high rollers in attendance at Bynum Front
Porch’s Casino Night Fundraiser last year, you missed a spectacular evening
of live entertainment, gaming and incredible raffle prizes. But don’t take
our word for it. . . . .
“We had a fantastic time last year at the Casino Night. What would be a
unique night out anywhere (except in Vegas itself), was created by the Bynum
Front Porch organization right here in Chatham County. We are looking
forward to high rolling for a good cause again this year!”
