Southern Supreme

The best homegrown business in Chatham County is located a few miles south of Harper’s Crossroads in the SW corner of the county.  You can take 902 past Bear Creek to Harper’s Xroads, go 1/4 mile west and turn south at the sign.  Go a mile or so south to next intersection, turn left at sign.  Southern Supreme is a few miles down that road.  However, it is closed after the holiday peak season and reason for its existence.  It opens sometime around Halloween for the holidays.

Subject: Link your grocery cards to help our schools

You have to link your Harris Teeter VIC card and Food Lion MVP card EVERY year in order to get donations to the schools (or other charities).
Even if you don’t have a child in school, you can help our local schools out everytime you go grocery shopping.

Sharpe Store Music invites everyone to join us for our 10 Year Anniversary & Memorial Celebration this Saturday, August 15th from 10 AM till 8 PM. We’re located on the corner of Goldston-Pittsboro Rd. (SR 1010) and Reno Sharps Store Rd., Bear Creek, NC  27207.  Bands will be playing all day, parking-lot jammin’, crafts, vendors, food, bouncy house and more.  Band Line-Up includes: UpCane Creek, Salt Creek, Acoustic Garage, Vintage Blue, Keep Off the Grass, Flatt Tyred, Fine Blue Line, Southland, Stoney Hill Bluegrass & more to be announced.  Thanks to all the bands who volunteered their time & talents!  A printable flyer is available online at our websites.

My daughter Chelsie was accepted to UNCG. She graduated as an Honor Graduate, North Carolina State Scholar with Beta club and Avid under her belt and participation in volleyball and soft ball from Chatham Central High School. She was one of only 15 students in the senior class to do so this year.

Dear Parents and guardians of the Class of 2009 Seniors (and any other interested folks):

You are invited to attend one of the upcoming parent meetings about Project Graduation, the all night alcohol and drug free celebration for graduating seniors on June 12th.

Help us keep our youth safe on their special night by volunteering to help.

A meeting will be held in the Northwood cafeteria at 7 p.m. on May 12.
