We ate at Scratch’s Pizza in the Wal Mart shopping center in Siler City the other night. I just wanted to say that the pizza was good, the salad bar was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent.

In the past 7-8 years that I have lived in Pittsboro I have eaten at the GSC probably close to 100 times. Not all of those experiences have been good, some due to lackluster service and some due to variable quality standards. I have expressed my concerns or displeasure both in this forum and by email to the proprietors.

For those of you that have been patiently waiting since November 2009 for us to vend at CCCC in Pittsboro starting this fall, it won’t happen. Dr. Allen has now informed me that the vending contract doesn’t come up for renewal until fall 2011.

We shaggers must agree with Cathy and Wes.  The General Store Café has supported our group and our fund raising in every way possible.  Plus, we have had fun doing it.  Jorgie is the best!  She and Vance have offered to back Chatham Area Shag Association and it’s fund raising for Chatham Charities by helping with expenses with special “shaggin” events featuring
our favorite beach bands.

We contacted him about putting in blueberry bushes.He has already been here, dug the soil samples and is sending them
to Raleigh.
I just couldn’t take on that “one more thing” as the spring season is
starting.

I don’t know how many frequent Andy’s in Pittsboro. I went to pick up lunch and was shocked when I saw the sanitation grade that was posted – 82.50. The inspection date was March 11, 2010.
