Subject: New CCCC Classes in Dog Obedience Starting Soon.

Dog Obedience – Beginner
Have fun in this intensive beginner obedience/home management class for dogs over 5 months old.  Students will learn to train their dogs with positive reinforcement to walk on a loose leash, come when called, sit, down and stand. First class is mandatory orientation, no dogs, owners only.

Meets:  Fridays 1/26 thru 3/9, 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Where:  Multi Purpose Room, Bldg. 42, Pittsboro Campus, CCCC
Cost:    $70

Dog Obedience – Canine Good Citizen Class
This course will prepare students to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test (CGC), which is given at the last meeting. The purpose of this CGC program is to ensure that the family dog can be a respected member of the human community.  Students will train their dogs to act respectfully at home and in public.  Dogs should have some training background.  What to bring:  Leather or fabric lead, 4 to 6 ft.  No flexi leads.  Soft treats dogs will love. No orientation. Dogs come to first class.
