Subject: PTA Thrift Store
There have been times that I could not afford the warm, heavy clothes that I needed to do outside work in the winter. There have been other times that I have found single parents with small children who needed clothing. There have been times that renters skipped-out & left behind clothes & furniture that I did not need. In all of the above cases, the Thrift Stores served their purposes & were very helpful. Anytime you have a conglomerate of people (ranging from needing help to trying to be helpful) there will be some problems & some disagreements. That stuff in the “slop jar” won’t smell nearly so badly if some people will stop stirring it.
