As 2018 approaches, invest in presenting your best professional self to existing and future contacts on LinkedIn.
When was the last time you updated your profile? Have you shared with your contacts that big award you received, that important report you authored or that significant grant you landed? Are you adding connections as you develop new professional relationships?
Your prospective customers, employees, employers, vendors and collaborators are using your LinkedIn profile to evaluate you. So is that nonprofit board or civic organization to which you applied. Heck, for that matter, so is that prospective love interest. Does your profile reflect your best self? Are you making an effective, strong first impression via LinkedIn?
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, 6-7:30 p.m., at a northern Chatham County restaurant, the Pittsboro/Chatham Social Media & Internet Marketing Meetup will dive into LinkedIn profiles. The cost is $5 per person plus the cost of your dinner at the restaurant.
Learn a variety of ways you can improve your profile and your presence on LinkedIn. First, we’ll discuss best practices. Then with what we have learned, we’ll help one another enhance our LinkedIn profiles on the spot in this workshop-style gathering. You’ll leave armed with the tools you need and individualized guidance for presenting your best self on LinkedIn for the New Year.
