Hey Tyndall Harris! I brought home your chocolate cake from the Silent Auction at the Rotary Bazaar Friday Nov. 3 and it is still moist and delicious Sunday afternoon! Thanks so much to you and Sally Keeney for baking for the Siler City  Rotary Bazaar. Sally, I was outbid for your carrot cake, so I can’t vouch for this edition, but the one I did have a piece of last week was great.

Thanks to all of you in our wonderful community who contributed items for the auction, or ate the delicious BBQ, slaw and beans dinner, and bid on items in the auction, and contributed money and bought raffle tickets for the TV, Generator, and gift card. We appreciate you very much.

Mark Zeringue will have an accounting of the money raised soon and the folks who get scholarships for college, Boys and Girls Clubs, Community Pharmacy, Food Pantry, Literacy Council and Habitat for Humanity and other Rotary Service Projects sent their thanks too. Don’t forget to spread the word about the free medical and dental clinic on the last Saturday of every month at the ground level of the Dykers Bldg. in Siler City.
