Subject: Pill Collection-September 19

Southeast Chatham Citizens Advisory Council in partnership  with the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department will host a collection of old pills and unused prescriptions:

Tuesday, September 19,  2017
6:30-8:00 P.M.
Moncure Fire Department
2389 Old US 1
Moncure, NC 27559

All you need to do is:
Remove all pills and/or prescriptions  from the bottles and put in a single zip lock bag.  Bring to the Moncure Fire Department between 6:30 and 8:00 P.M   on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

Please help us dispose of these drugs responsibly!  We  need to keep them out of the hands of our children and those who could use these  drugs for illegal purposes.

It is not safe to flush drugs down the toilet!  To do so  would negatively affect the ground water or water that is treated in a  treatment plant.

Please join us for this important effort!

All Chatham County residents are welcome to attend our monthly  meetings at the Moncure Fire Department.  There are no dues or fees to  attend our meetings.  We do pass a basket for voluntary donations that are  used for community programs.
