Subject: AT&T offers hope for rural broadband!

A friend shared this article with me about AT&T targeting rural NC for wireless broadband.    I’ve heard good things about point to point wireless broadband and would love to see it available here.

I’d be happy to pay the maximum of $200 a month and what ever exorbitant setup/equipment charge they offer if the speeds are what they promise (and consistent). Unfortunately the website doesn’t give us the opportunity to sign up for availability notice, it just says it’s not available yet.

I don’t know who is the primary contact at AT&T but I personally would love to see the Chatham rural community reach out in force and share our desire for for better internet for all rural customers who have nothing or have to deal with Century Link.

Check out the article if you are interested in good rural broadband.
