Subject: Friday night at the Bynum General Store — Too Much Fun

Great grooves, great lyrics, great playing! Too Much Fun is American roots, rock, and rhythm & blues at it’s finest. If you’re not dancing, tapping your foot, or smiling….you ain’t payin attention.

We are thrilled to present the Bynum Front Porch Friday Night Music at the Bynum General Store. The bands are varied: gospel, folk, blues, jazz, rockabilly… bluegrass… .

Every Friday night from May to August, folks come and bring their chairs. They visit and talk as the crowd gathers. There are food trucks, Little Dipper’s Italian Ice <https://www.facebook.com/Little-Dippers-Italian-Ice-216530101714268/>, and non-profit bake sales. There is an outdoor stage (and an indoor stage in the store if it rains!). Fireflies. Sometimes thunder. Young and old dance. There are art programs for the kids and toys and books… and screen doors to learn how to bang.

A pith helmet is passed to pay the band. ($10 suggested.) No pets or alcohol.

Summer nights – listening to the fiddles and the mandolins melding with the cacophony from crickets, owls, tree frogs and toads. Not being able to tell if the white lights are fireflies or Christmas lights. 3/4 time. Not worrying. Not rushing. Just being. As twilight descends. Come rock with us.
