Monday, May 8
4pm                       Monday Story Times. Chatham Community Library will be offering a new regular story time at 4pm on Mondays. These story times will be designed with a specific group/outcome in mind, but are still open to everyone and anyone who wishes to attend!  Join Mr. Mark and Mr. Luis as they read stories and sing songs together in both Spanish and English today.

4pm                            Book Club for Kids Ages 5-8

Wednesday, May 10
4-5pm                       Drop-in Computer Assistance. Do you have a specific computer question?  Need to know how to insert page numbers in your Word document, create an email account, or get started with library eBooks?  Drop in to Chatham Community Library’s computer lab for one-on-one assistance on the second Wednesday of each month, any time between 4:00 and 5:00 pm..  (If you have a question about something on your personal laptop or device, please bring it with you.) We can typically spend about 20 minutes with each patron.  Please come prepared with your specific questions.  If you need extensive help with basic computer skills, we recommend that you take our Computer Basics classes instead. First come, first served.  No registration required.  Please call 919-545-8086 with any questions.

Thursday, May 11
9am-Noon                    Genealogy Assistance. Volunteer genealogists are available to assist with family history research, whether your ancestors lived in Chatham County, the 50 states, or overseas.  A genealogist is on site in the library most Thursdays from 9:00 am to noon, and other days and times by appointment.  Call 919-545-8086 to make an appointment.  Sessions take place in the Local History & Genealogy area of Chatham Community Library.  Please bring as much written documentation as you have about the topic you are researching, as well as a flash drive for saving documents and/or money for printing.
