In celebration of Valentine’s Day and Spay/Neuter Awareness Month, CARE (Chatham Animal Rescue and Education) is offering Free spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats from February 14 through March 31, 2017. Applications must be postmarked no later than March 31st to be considered.

This free offer is available to Chatham County residents who qualify for CARE’s targeted spay/neuter program, Lillie’s Fund. There is a limit of 3 pets per household; additional pets require a $20 co-pay per pet.

CARE is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that promotes responsible pet ownership by educating the community, providing targeted spay/neuter programs, and fostering homeless cats and dogs until they are placed in loving, permanent homes.
