“Hear Us Again for the First Time!” – Effective Conservatism and the Republican Study Committee

This week, I wrote an op-ed on FoxNews.com to look ahead at the policies we will pursue in the 115th Congress, but also to talk about what I think is just as important – our approach and our voice.

As Republican Study Committee chairman, my hope is to lay out clear and measurable objectives with contemporary messaging that communicates our principles of opportunity, liberty, and security. I don’t assume that we’re the first to share such a vision but the American People have afforded us this momentum and we must act with urgency – not out of political gain or posturing but rather out of the belief that good policy with the right approach can change America for the better.
You can read the full op-ed here.

I have written to Congressman Walker with some concerns but haven’t heard back.  I urge all Chatham County voters to get to know Congressman Walker and make sure that he represents the interests of Chatham County citizens in Washington.
