Subject: We are on a journey here
Regarding the comments of the skin color of the two young men that “stepped up” after wiping out the mailbox. It is obvious why skin color was mentioned, people need to quit pretending that there is not some predudice regarding young blacks, especially the young men. They are so often portrayed in such a negative light by the media, it is still necessary to point out the good in young black men. So get off of your high horse and step up to the plate. Unless some things are pointed out, people will still stereotype. We are on a journey here, and changes must be made, one step at a time.
