Subject: Popcorn Ceilings
I’m sure you have already decided on your course of action, but something that may be useful in the future just popped into my head…
While preparing my parents’ house for sale, I had a contractor tell me that he would charge less to just cover the popcorn ceiling with quarter-inch sheet rock, and finish that. He also said that if popcorn is painted during remodeling, it becomes very difficult to remove.
