Candidates Forum This Saturday
The Chatham Unit of the League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham Counties is sponsoring a forum for the public to hear from candidates for District 1 and District 2 seats on the Chatham County Board of Commissioners, and candidates for the North Carolina District 15B Court..The forum will be held this Saturday October 8, 2016, in the Chatham Community Library Holmes Meeting Room, located at 197 Highway 87N, Pittsboro, from 2:00-4:00 PM.Each candidate has been invited to present opening remarks, followed by a question and answer period, and then closing remarks. A reception will follow the forum and other candidates will be invited to meet and greet the community. Members of the League of Women Voters will be available to register voters and provide information about voting rights. The forum is free and open to the public.
