Subject: Location of August 15 Commissioners Meeting is Moved to Chatham Central
August Meeting of Commissioners Moved to Chatham Central High
The Chatham County Board of Commissioners will be meeting in a different location for its August 15, 2016 Work Session and Regular Session to accommodate expected larger public attendance. The meeting will be held at Central Chatham High School Auditorium on NC Highway 902 in southwestern Chatham County.
The Regular Session begins at 6 pm and likely will include the board’s consideration of zoning the currently unzoned areas of the county. A public hearing on this issue was held in June, so this is not a public hearing. The starting time of the afternoon Work Session has not yet been determined and will be based on how much business has to be covered. Check the calendar on the website as we get closer to the meeting date for more information.
In keeping with the NC Public Records Law, e-mails, including attachments, may be released to others upon request for inspection and copying.
