It is indeed unfortunate that I have the rotten luck to own property adjoining that of Nabooko. Our borders touch and the area is thick with trees and undergrowth.- and I like it that way. Normally, the two of us have no  contact but . .

When Nabooko starts belting out one of those ear splitting cat-a-walling bellows some refer to as a song, things start to go haywire. The sound starts  the stampede of all manner of wild creatures AWAY from that property to mine- Birds,  skunks, possums, deer and anything else unfortunate enough to be within ear shot of the  bellowing. Sometimes the giant tortoise are so slow, they are doomed to a slow  deafness  . .

I can think of  only one good thing to come out of it all. It totally  scares away the locust and wild iguanas that usually destroy my annual  mango, coconut and  banana crops . . .
