EDIBLE & MEDICINAL SPRING PLANTS
Through CCCC, meets all over Chatham County
Thursdays 3-7pm, March 31-April 28, 2016
Meet, eat, and drink some of the abundant edible and medicinal plants growing wild in the NC Piedmont. In this hands-on field study, we’ll cover identification, ethical gathering, preparation, and usage of foraged food and plant medicine. Learn how to incorporate the healing and nourishment of wild plants into your everyday life through teas, tinctures, delicious food, and more. We’ll celebrate the arrival of spring as we explore a variety of local environments.

Registration is open and this class traditionally fills up so sign up soon in person or by phone at CCCC in Pittsboro: (919) 545-8044. Cost for the 5-week course is $99. Enjoy inspiring pictures from past sessions of this field study.
