Last week I posted a couple of comments after the latest misleading cyber communications from Pittsboro Matters.

I received a few private comments, which prompted me to do more research.

What I discovered was that their case was dismissed with prejudice by Superior Court Judge Paul Ridgeway on December 9th.

This form of dismissal is important to understand because such a dismissal is final and bars the plaintiff, Pittsboro Matters, from suing or bringing forward more actions on the same claim.

In addition, when a suit is dismissed in this matter there is an implication that the case was brought forth in bad faith.

I personally do not have an issue with the friends and neighbors who have raised reasonable issues and concerns about Chatham Park and who have supported Pittsboro Matters.

My issue is with the tactics, tone, strategy and potential end game for Pittsboro Matters.

We have a chance to work together to really create something positive and influential.

I sincerely hope that we will get there soon.
