I’ve posted this before, but it’s time to remind everyone. Keep a notepad or voice recorder next to you while driving, and the next time you see some idiot toss a cigarette or other trash out the window, note the license, county, time, and road. Then. when you get a chance, go to http://www.ncdot.gov/doh/
The Office of Beautification Programs promises to:
Notify the vehicle owner of the littering offense
Inform the vehicle owner of the penalties for littering
Urge the litterbug to stop littering
Send a formal notification signed by the Colonel of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol
Now, if we can just get an Office of Safe Driving to allow us to flag moronic driving…
