Tuesday, Oct. 20
10am                   Preschool Story Time
2pm                     French Conversation Group for adults. Join us on the third Tuesday of each month for lively French conversation on a variety of topics. The meeting is conducted entirely in French and the group is immersed in the conversation the entire time. Newcomers and drop-ins are always welcome but plan to come a few minutes early or stay a few minutes afterwards if you want to meet the others or chat with the organizer.

4pm                     Book Club for Kids Ages 9-11

5:30-6:15pm      Reflective Reading & Meditation Forum
Chatham Community Library is offering a six week forum designed to deepen our reflection and personal understanding. Each session will consist of a short reading, followed by 15-20 minutes of silent meditation/contemplation, and close with a few moments for shared insights. The readings will draw from the writings of some of the world’s most profound thinkers. We will start with a reading from HD Thoreau’s Walden. Jeshua Pacifici will host the forum.

Each session will start at 5:30pm and conclude at 6:15pm.

10:30am                 Preschool Story Time

Saturday, Oct. 24
3:30 pm                 Spanish Book Club for Adults. This club, moderated by Sandy Reul, meets twice a month in the double study room and is conducted entirely in Spanish. All the book club members are bilingual, the majority of our club members are native English speakers, with a small portion whose native language are different from English.
