10am Preschool Story Time is back!
10am Internet Basics Computer Class, part 1. Must be comfortable using a computer and registration is required. Contact the Reference Desk at 919-545-8086.
2pm French Conversation Group for adults. This meeting is conducted entirely in French.
4pm Storyteller- Cindy Raxter. Celebrate National Storytelling Month with local storyteller Cindy Raxter and come prepared to laugh! For more information contact Children’s Services at 919-545-8085.

Thursday, Sept. 17
9am-7pm Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale. There’s something for everyone! The sale includes more than 15,000 books (all categorized), plus CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks. All items are in excellent condition.

Admission is free, and purchases may be made by cash or check (no credit cards).

Thursday, September 17: 9 am – 7 pm
Friday, September 18: 9 am – 7 pm
Saturday, September 19: 9 am – 2 pm

On Thursday, most hardcover books are $3, trade paperbacks are $2, and small paperbacks are 50¢. Sales of $200 or more earn a 20% discount on Thursday.
On Friday, all books and materials are half price.
On Saturday, fill a grocery bag for $5, with no limit on the number of bags..

“Claudia’s Corner” offers rare and special books. A listing of these books may be found on the Website of the Friends of the Chatham Community Library at http://www.friendsofthechathamcommunitylibrary.org/.

All proceeds from the book sale are used to benefit the library for underwriting programs; purchasing needed books, materials and equipment; and improving its technology and services.

1-3pm Genealogy Assistance. Reservations required. Contact the Reference department at 919-545- 8086 to make an appointment.
