The Chatham County Republican Party will host Kris Paronto, co-author of the best seller book, *13 HOURS: The Inside Account of What Really Happened In Benghazi* on Tuesday, October 6th from 7:30 until 9 PM at the Fearrington Barn in Fearrington Village Center (off 15/501) in Pittsboro. Doors will open at 6:30 PM.
Kris will *share his story of the* last hours of an American diplomatic outpost in one of the most dangerous corners of the globe. He’ll describe the bloody assault, tragic losses, and heroic deeds at the US State Department Special Mission Compound and at a nearby CIA base in Benghazi, Libya, from the night of September 11, 2012, into the morning of the next day. “Benghazi is back in the news, for many good reasons, and we’re eager to hear the full account,” says Brian Bock, Chair of the Chatham GOP.
Event sponsorships are available. Sponsors will receive admission for two, a private dinner preceding the event with Kris Paronto at The Granary in Fearrington Village, photos with Kris, a signed copy of *13 Hours*, and special recognition in the Program. There are a limited number of sponsorships. General admission is $30 per person and $25 for Veterans. Kris will also be available to sign copies of *13 Hours* and these can be purchased that evening for $30.
