STROBILUS ARTS presents CELLO FOURUM on September 10
At 7:30 on Thursday, September 10, Cello Fourum makes its Chatham County debut at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church with an eclectic program including familiar classics, tangos, and Americana.
Cello Fourum is comprised of professional cellists Peng Li, David Meyer, Marc Moskovitz, and Nathaniel Yaffe. Their repertoire spans five centuries and an array of genres.
This program will include familiar themes like Rossini’s Overture to the Barber of Seville and American ragtime standards, as well as forays into Argentine tango and original transcriptions of popular music.
Strobilus Arts has its home at Chapel in the Pines on the south side of Chapel Hill in Chatham County. 314 Great Ridge Parkway, Chapel Hill 27516
Admission to this performance is free with a suggested $10 donation.
