Subject: Day of the Books/Dia de los Libros needs BOOKS!
Just a reminder that Saturday, April 25 is The Day of the Books – EL DIA DE LOS LIBROS at Bray Park in Siler City, 10-2pm– music, mime, crafts, stories, food, fun, and a children’s parade, so kids are encouraged to come in costume if they like!
The event, sponsored by Child Care Networks, promotes children’s reading, and each child will go home with at least one new and gently used book to encourage reading interest.
Also, please donate any extra gently used English or bilingual books on your children or grandchildren’s book shelves. Donations for the event may be taken to the following:
Pittsboro – Angelina’s Kitchen –
Siler City — Paperbacks Plus –208 E Raleigh Street ( Wed 9-1, Thurs/Fri 12-5:30, Sat 10:30-5).
Siler City — Walgreen’s
