Come check out some of Pittsboro’s talent at Open Mic! As always on Wednesdays it’s $1 off draft beer as well

Thursday @ 8:00 PM *- Bourbon Tasting -* *Tickets $25*

Bourbon tastings are back!! Doesn’t matter if you’re already a bourbon lover, just a beginner or really just want to learn about about this great American whiskey. Brian Taylor takes you on a stroll through early days of bourbon on through the bourbons of today. Ever wondered why you may like one brand of bourbon over some others? We will be sampling several different kinds of bourbons, all with different characteristics and subtleties that help define the bourbons of today. C’mon out and educate yourself, while sampling bourbon!! Wow, I tell ya, going to class sure wasn’t like this when i grew up……

Friday @ 8:30 PM – *TANKK*

TANKK has been described as eccentric and smart, old school funk with a new sound of today, rock and soul, music that makes you feel good, bass poppin-thumpin-slappin-pluckin fun, the gospel funk with electric colors, the music is hot and there is nothing you can do but move. It is positive, energetic, saturated with groove, explosive and exciting. <http://www.theguiltypleasures.org/> <http://www.theguiltypleasures.org/>

Saturday @ 8:30 PM – *The Holland Brothers*

When twin brothers Mark and Michael Holland sing harmony, they get your attention. They then keep it with a fine display of blues harp, acoustic slide guitar, and thumbpicking 12-string guitar that form the basis of a memorable and entertaining show. Similar to the Piedmont songsters of old, The Holland Bros from North Carolina play a variety of old-time folk, country and blues music that includes choice covers and inspired original songwriting. Drawing inspiration from Charlie Poole to Charlie Patton, the Holland Bros continue to garner praise and gain new fans daily…
