Sunday, March 29th from 1:30 to 2:30 PM: Nature’s Hide & Seek Family Hike at Jordan Lake (Free)

Many things in nature go unseen. Their size, color and location can make them hard to find. On our walk, we will see if we can find some of these things. Join a Park Ranger on a “Nature’s Hide & Seek” walk on the new Kids in Parks TRACK Trail at Jordan Lake’s Seaforth recreation area. Fun for the whole family – kids and the young at heart! The trail is an easy 1.5 miles that begins on the western side of the beach parking lot. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Picnic tables are available if you want to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy before the outing. Meet at the TRACK Trailhead sign at Seaforth recreation area off Hwy 64 at Jordan Lake. Please register for this free hike by calling 919-545-8044 Monday through Friday at Central Carolina Community College’s Continuing Education department.
