Subject: Chatham EDC welcomes four new board members

Four new members were appointed to the Chatham Economic Development Corporation’s board of directors last week. John Ruffin, Jeff Wilson, Greg Lewis and Taylor Hobbs will serve four-year terms on the board.

Ruffin, a Moncure resident, entrepreneur and philanthropist, currently serves on the Triangle South Workforce Development Board.

Wilson, a Chatham County native, is the vice president of operations at Wilson Brothers Milling Company in Bear Creek and volunteers with several local civic organizations.

Lewis is the owner and operator of The Pittsboro Roadhouse restaurant and serves as the co-chair of the Pittsboro Business Association.

Hobbs, also of Pittsboro, is the owner of Hobbs Architects, PA and serves on the Chatham Arts Council board.

Twig Wood, Linda Harris and Michael Donoghue were reappointed to the board.

Chatham Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is the lead economic development agency for Chatham County.
