Yes! My home is in the back of Fearrington Village, where Bush Creek runs along the back line of my property. The very back of my 1 acre lot is so isolated that all kinds of wildlife come through it to graze and/or get a drink of water. I hear a pack of coyotes running through my yard fairly regularly making lots of noise as they go. I’ve guessed they were chasing deer, a dog or even maybe that lone large bob cat that was observed here a few years back. Across Bush Creek and up a hill is a farm where I hear rifles hunting deer annually. So this time of year the deer leave my area for other safe havens which also takes the pack of coyotes too. The pack sounds like 5 or 6 coyotes. I wouldn’t want to get in their way either, so I don’t venture out in my yard at night without carrying a gun. I was a Boy Scout, so I must Be Prepared! 😉
