Subject: Bah Humbug , scrooged and grinched!
The mother and daughter some of us helped out with Christmas were both laid off just hours short of Christmas. They wouldn’t have made it through Christmas without the help others gave them . None of us knew they were going to be laid off so it was a miracle in its self we helped them at the exact moment they needed hope the most. Christmas is over but the meaning and spirit behind it needs to last all year long . I have seen this lady work and she works hard and she would make someone a good employee and so would her daughter. If anyone could use some good dependable help please let me know . She will work and doesn’t ask for a handout so I am going to give her a hand and see if anyone can help them. Rent will be coming due soon and so will regular monthly bills. I don’t care for big box stores and I care even less for them now.
I feel both losing their jobs just before Christmas was a real dose of Bah humbug, scrooged and grinched all wrapped up in a bitter wrapper.
