Subject: Bluegrass Christmas at Bynum General Store
Dec 20th – HOLD the date. Everyone is invited to join in for a special Holiday concert with Bynum Front Porch & New Direction.
*New Direction* will be performing holiday music on the indoor stage at the Bynum General Store on Saturday, December 20st from 6:00-8:00p.m. This concert is free and open to the public. As usual, the hat will be passed around in our appreciation to the band. Please join us for some holiday cheer and sing-a-long. Grab a hot coffee or hot cocoa, pull up a chair and feel the festivity of the season.
The band came together in 2006 to create a great sounding bluegrass gospel band while forming deep friendships with family and friends. Band members are: Bobby Gales, his wife, Charity Gales, Billy Mickle and Pastor Greg Burriss. They can be heard at many local venues including churches, fundraisers, parties, schools, bluegrass jams, etc. They enjoy sharing bluegrass music with others. From teaching elementary and middle school students about the unique sounds of each instrument, playing old and new favorite hymns at churches, sharing funny stories and jokes, to singing Christmas favorites for the young and young at heart, New Direction’s purpose is to share God’s love through music. You are invited to come, relax and sing along!
