We get our electricity from the HIGHLY regulated private company that is run like a government-regulated monopoly. EVERYTHING our NC utilities do is AFTER the professional democrats running the agencies approve. Yes, the bureaucrats were put in place in state government LONG before the republicans won in 2010. Just like in Chatham County, the government workers were ALL hired by the democrats LONG before 2010 and the evil republican commissioners left them ALL in place as if they would all-of-a-sudden become conservative, limited government, results-oriented, tax misers. HAH!
We PAY for our electricity. We do not get it FROM our benefactors in The Government.
Automobiles are NOT safer, better, cheaper, BECAUSE of the government intervention but despite it. Millions of Americans drive vehicles that are not hybrids or EV despite government control.
Our public school systems are FAILING. You can brag, “Chatham schools are at the top of the list of all those others that are all failing, too!” Almost 50% of those who get to 9th grade drop out. High school graduates can read the words but they cannot comprehend what those words mean. Those students cannot determine change for a $20 bill. They have no idea what the U.S. Constitution is, where our laws came from, or how democrats are destroying our nation with their lawlessness. Oh, wait a minute, YOU might not know this either!
Our public schools receive over $8000 per student per year. 30 students per classroom. Where does $240,000 per CLASSROOM per year go?
Before there were “public schools” parents were responsible for their children’s education, breakfasts, lunches, healthcare, preparation for adulthood, civics, welfare, character, charity, etc. It does NOT come from our benefactors in The Government. The curriculum is full of BS that has nothing NOTHING to do with preparing our children for a world of work.
For the record, I am an Unaffiliated voter, too. I do not think republicans have any answers. I think the Republican Establishment (Boehner, McConnell, Tom Tillis, et al) are feckless. But I think these republicans will not rush into full scale destruction of our laws, institutions, culture, and society under the guise of “fundamentally transforming” the United States and “redistributing wealth”.
Democrats dictate how you and I should think, talk, the words we use in public, what kind of lunch we eat, how much corn should be in our fuel, the kind of insurance you buy, how much cyanide and arsenic is acceptable in your drinking water, what kind of bushes you must plant, the thickness of your handrails. For God’s sake, what is NOT regulated already?
Government does NOT create opportunities. Government CRUSHES opportunity. Government wants us ALL dependent, fat, dumb, and happy on Welfare, Food Stamps, Medicaid, etc. The private sector creates opportunities. It is our systems that allowed the US to become the greatest nation the world has ever seen in the shortest time in history. It is government that is crushing that American spirit.
How do you compromise with Chatham Democrats who hate America and evil republicans AND ANYONE else who does not march in lockstep with the party dictates? “Compromise” is ONLY when everyone else agrees with Democrats. Have you ever heard of Democrats giving up on ANYTHING? It took them 90 years to get socialized healthcare. How is that working for YOU?
Try being a democrat and NOT support abortion. Try being a democrat and NOT support open borders, the welfare state, dismantling the military, driving the middle class into Welfare, Food Stamps, Medicaid (Obamacare), free breakfast, free lunch, free cell phones, free bus rides, free school for illegal immigrants, etc. YOUR voice will be crushed just like anyone else who does not fall in line with the party dictates. People used to be embarrassed to take government “assistance”. Now it is easy. You get MORE money per month if you have MORE babies! And EVERYthing wrong is the fault of those evil republicans!
