Date: Sat, 11 Oct 2014 08:42:33 -0400
From: “Gretchen Smith”
Subject: Oct 16th CCP Meeting at 9:00 am Agenda: Trails in Chatham – Guest Speakers and Optional Hike Afterwards

Theme for the quarterly meeting of the Chatham Conservation Partnership (CCP) is “Connecting with Nature through Trails in Chatham County”. Immersion in the natural world allows us to see and experience the interconnectedness of all things. This connection with nature is essential as we attempt to balance our indoor, urban lives with the fun and benefits of being outside. Trails lead us along paths to make these connections. There are a wide variety of trails to take advantage of in Chatham County: walking/running, hiking, biking, horseback riding, paddling. Join us, and learn about planning for trails, designing trails, and using trails in Chatham County.
