Over the past four years Walter Petty, Pam Stewart, and Brian Bock have proven that they have the leadership and vision to guide Chatham county over the next four years. Jobs in the county are up significantly since their policies were implemented, businesses are showing confidence in the county by investing over $250 million in capital, and sales tax revenue is increasing at almost twice the rate of the rest of the State.
They have funded teacher raises, an innovative school bonus program, and renovated school facilities. Prioritizing the budget has also made it possible to spend more public safety without raising property taxes. At the same time they have implemented some of the strongest water protection rules to ensure we have clean drinking water.
