All Roads Lead to and from Chatham County
The public is invited to a presentation by Lee D. Kent on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Historic Chatham County Courthouse Courtroom in Pittsboro.
The presentation, sponsored by the Chatham County Historical Association, will look at the original migration patterns into North Carolina as a whole and into Chatham County in particular. The discussion will center on the groups forming the historical settlers of the county and also the exodus of families and groups over time. Particular attention will be given to the population decline in the county in the 1830s.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Please join us. The building is accessible. Enter the doors on the north side.
