Subject: Tree Story Contest EXTENDED through August

First, a warm thank you to everyone who has submitted a story already. The stories have been a treat to read. Since the Summer Reading program is still going on at the 3 Chatham County libraries, Grand Trees of Chatham has extended the Tree Story Contest through August.

The display that was at Chatham Community Library in July has moved to the Goldston Library for August. However, the notebooks with the tree story materials are still in place at all 3 libraries. Wren Memorial Library in Siler City will get its turn with the display in September.

We have given out a lot of forms at the Summer Reading activities and hope some will come back to us with a story, poem, drawing, or photo. You may take your submission to one of the libraries or email it to <>

Please remember to include a way to contact you in case you win a prize!
