Pit bulls are not wild, vicious, blood thirsty animals any more than your black lab is

I personally own a pit bull – wonderful little cutie pie. My little guy has never, ever, growled, taken an angry look, or bitten me. I can take his food when he is in the middle of it. Takes all his shots like a big boy, lets me trim his toenails, and sleeps in bed with his mom (me). If I see a pit bull who is not similar to my little guy, my eyes follow the leash up. The answer is there.

My guy is a perfect gentleman on a leash, wagging for deliveries ( what’d you bring me? ). To characterize a breed by the activities of a few is racism. Pit bulls are not wild, vicious, blood thirsty animals any more than your black lab is. They are wonderfully smart and trainable. In England years ago, they were called the ‘nanny breed’. The child and the dog would grow up together. The dog would keep his child safe..

I’ve never seen a dog that was born dangerous. It takes human pathology to make that happen.

  1. You are so right and I love how you stated “If I see a pit bull who is not similar to my little guy, my eyes follow the leash up. The answer is there.”
My Tulip is the sweetest little girl you ever did meet and I am just sick with the way these supposedly aggressisve breeds are being demonized instead of the humans that raise them up to be that way or abuse them to the point they don’t feel they have a choice!
