Subject: Please help us feed those who need in Chatham
Greg and Maria Lewis at the Roadhouse are putting together meals to go out to elderly folks every Sunday morning. Our neighbors are just showing up to help put them together and it only takes a few minutes when we all pitch in. Moms and Dads and kiddos and grandparents are all helping! It’s a great atmosphere knowing that we are all just giving a few minutes of our time to do a really good thing. We even had a 4H group show up to help one Sunday – what a blessing! We live in the best community 🙂 THANK YOU to Greg and Maria for giving us this opportunity to give back. My littles are enjoying getting to see a couple of folks every Sunday. My daughter even made a card for one and they really do see the value in how they are contributing to their community. They look forward to Sunday mornings delivery and visits.
The Roadhouse is also making meals for the Women’s Shelter because we have learned they could really use food. Greg is committing the meals and we will help get them delivered 🙂 There is shelter for them but they provide their own food. Can we help them out Chatham?
To help Greg, Chatham Business Services will now be a food collection spot for the Women’s Shelter. We’ll deliver as often as we fill our basket in the office. Please bring whatever foods you can to 20 Sanford Rd. If you have anything extra they truly do appreciate this!!
