Subject: Siler City appearance
Just so Mark and all Chatlisters will be aware, the NC-STEP program administered a State grant that matched funds for business owners in Siler City to make improvements in the appearance of their facilities, storefronts, paint, awnings, etc.
Its follow up SCDO, Siler City Development Organization, is planning similar supportive activities to help local businesses and the community be more attractive for folks wanting to do business and live in the area.
I was/am on both these boards and assure you all we maintain close coordination with the town commissioners (Chip Price is on the board as is the town planner, Jack Meadows) and Mayor Grimes.
